What kind of program can I develop with Centro MundoLengua?
There are many possibilities. We will work with you to custom-design the appropriate program for your students’ needs. We will put you in touch with our academic directors ahead of time, as they structure the appropriate curriculum for your students. We will also put you in touch with our activities directors, as they work out a detailed day-by-day itinerary of cultural visits, excursions, company visits, volunteer service, etc.
What are the benefits of such a program?
You have the opportunity to custom-design your own program, complementing or completing work done in your home country. You have the opportunity to rely on specialists in Spain, who can further help with the academic, professional, and personal development of your students. In some instances, it may even be possible for you to co-teach courses in Spain, alongside Centro MundoLengua or university professors.
What about extra-curricular activities?
Centro MundoLengua can organize many activities including language exchanges, cultural visits, cooking classes, sports activities, salsa and flamenco dance lessons, as well as excursions to cities such as Barcelona, Morocco, Madrid, Granada, etc.
What about the families where my students will live?
Host families have worked with us for many years, and are all carefully chosen and visited by our housing director. Most families live in middle-class apartments, with the usual comforts of life. Students will most likely share a room with a friend, or other student from the program. They will also most likely share a bathroom. Families make all meals for students, so this is an excellent opportunity to try many new home-cooked Spanish foods. We can also deal with special diets, but we need to know this in advance. Families also wash any clothes for students. Our housing director is onsite every day, willing to help with even the smallest of issues. Students develop close bonds with their families, and really love this aspect of the program. They also have the opportunity to practice their Spanish in a real-life setting, outside of the classroom.
