This course is designed to give high school students advanced preparation for university level Spanish literature courses. It is especially designed to meet the needs of students interested in taking the AP Spanish Literature course, as the program will cover several of the required readings on the AP list. The primary focus is on learning the basic techniques of literary analysis, as well as specific vocabulary. These newly acquired tools are then put to use by experiencing some of the greatest works of Spanish literature in their original settings. Students will work to improve their literary vocabulary and analytical composition skills, as well as gaining a deep appreciation for the unique cultural value of literary works of art in their proper context.

THE AP SPANISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM INCLUDES:
