David Hirsch
DIRECTOR US Programs _____________ Home country USA Stats Chicago native, graduate of Brown University, degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics. Ex-Wall Street investment banker. In his words For the last eight years, I’ve been directing Spanish-language programs in Spain. Students often ask me how it’s possible that I know everyone’s name. The answer is simple: this is my passion. The best part of my job is personally interacting with all of our students on a daily basis.

DIRECTOR Europe & Canada Programs _____________ Home country Switzerland Stats Born in Zurich, lived and studied in Africa, France, England and Ireland before coming to Spain. In her words As someone who has participated in a number of study-abroad programs in other countries, I highly recommend this sometimes ‘scary’ experience to students because I’ve learned a lot about myself and other cultures, and can now speak five languages fluently.

ACADEMIC DIRECTOR University Programs _____________ Home country Spain Stats Degree in English from the University of Seville, has lived in the UK and in the US, where she received her Master’s at UPenn. In her words Nothing makes me feel more satisfied than reading the final evaluations of my students and knowing that I played an important role in their newfound passion for Spain. I love teaching Spanish and I’m proud to have taught my language in England and in America, and now to our international students here in Seville and Cadiz.

ACADEMIC DIRECTOR Pre-College High School Spanish Program _____________ Home country Spain Stats Has lived in Tunisia and Syria, and the US (as a Foreign Language Assistant at the College of William & Mary). Degree in Arabic from the University of Seville. In her words I love working with students; I always end up having just as much fun as the students do when we organize events, whether in my role as professor, coordinator, and tutor in The Spanish House at William and Mary, or here as a teacher and coordinator with MundoLengua in Seville and Cadiz.

ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR Seville and Cadiz Programs _____________ Home country Spain Stats Has degree in Medieval English Literature from the University of Seville. Currently pursuing a degree in history. He’s also studied in Birmingham, UK, and in Ireland. In his words My style is always engaging, but relaxed. I want students to gain a deep appreciation for Spain’s culture – only then can they begin to make comparisons to their own.
